“I love art and I pic works that speak to me”. Once it was uttered by my favorite painter Gautam Mukherjee when I was in Mumbai in early 2019. After two year’s when I came to learn that my artist going to arrange an Art exhibition on his various creations of recent times including pandemic weather of our family.
But above all when we gone through his Lover or couple series undoubtedly we can easily say. This is call actual portrait of love which focus by Gautam and if we questioned ourselves, “how it is possible”!! The only answer await that ‘Gautam is uncompromised lover without any artificiality by supporting subject of his paintings of couple or “JUGAL BANDI” symbolize through a story break with lover or a parrot or a lovable scenario hanging behind their wall. But over all we must remember a self-taught artist like Gautam Mukherjee. Who always conscious and respects his gallery visitors and lover.
